Taliban Denounce Poisoning of Girls

Yesterday, about 171 girls and women were poisoned at a school in Afghanistan. Whereas the blame immediately went to the Taliban, Afghanistan is far too complex for reflexive answers. Further, there are many groups of "Taliban," and other associated enemies, making it impossible to affix responsibility to a monolithic enemy that does not exist. The attack might also be the work of a lone wolf.
The Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik recently slaughtered 77 people in Norway. That was terror by a Norwegian against Norwegians. Back in Afghanistan, at least one American Soldier is accused of recently killing 17 Afghans. Many victims were women and children. Back in America, years before the war, a former American soldier killed 168, including many very young children, in Oklahoma City. Nearly 700 were wounded in that Oklahoma terrorist attack.
That's about 260 people killed in three attacks, apparently by only three white guys, none of whom were Taliban or Muslims. Some people are just bad, and many act alone or nearly alone.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid fully owned up to their terrorist attacks that unfolded just days ago in Kabul and elsewhere. He emailed to me, and contacted large media, and took credit for multiple suicide and other attacks. And so it was natural to ask Mujahid if the Taliban (there are many groups, and there are lone wolves) was behind this atrocity against the girls yesterday.
His answer today:
"we are respecting womens . taliban movement became in power againt those who kidnape womens and rap girls . we don,t know about these girls , who and for what reason they kidnape. we are not support this . Their arae a lot af those creminals who were involve in that kind of cases b4 , now they are in power . and I personly sure that in this case they will be involve"
And so I responded to Mujahid's answer with a question. Will the Taliban bring these criminal(s) who poisoned the girls to Islamic Justice? Mujahid answered minutes ago:
"As I wrote u in my last mail we are agaist this criminals activety , so of corse we will bring them to islamic justice."
Of course, not everything that happens out there is in accordance with the policies of the Afghanistan government, or our troops, or the Taliban. When a Soldier or Soldiers apparently murdered 17 Afghans, those murders were not sanctioned by our side, though it looks like we own it. Likewise, the Taliban did abolish opium and the use of boys for sex, and they did hang people for raping women. Meanwhile, the government of Afghanistan is more apt to make a woman marry someone who rapes her. This is a complex mess. There is no black and white in this. The more you learn the more your head spins.
If there is any good news out of this, it is that many girls are in school.

My guess is that they were poisoned because they were in school, but then... Well, why did the Norwegian guy kill all those people? Why were 168 killed in Oklahoma? Why did one (or more) of our guys apparently murder 17 Afghans recently? I can only guess, and it's just a guess. Maybe the person who did it is angry because the school took part of his land? (I have zero idea whatsoever...am just mentioning what we all know, and that is that motivations often turn out to be incredibly different than we supposed, and the perpetrators are not always who we assumed they would be.) I just don't know. We have people who shoot up schools and work places in America. Why do they do it? If Hitler had been a Muslim, we would have said he was on jihad. In fact, he was just Hilter.
The bottom line is when in power the Afghan Taliban, which I agree are many cells or groups, banned the schooling of girls are part of the official law of that regime.
So as a majority the Afghan Taliban probably does not support the education of females outside the home.
I wonder what this Taliban media guy's thoughts are on flying passenger filled jet planes into packed office buildings?

Frankly, I am offended at your trying to give this man credibility. You bring up one example of them taking credit, for something they are proud of. Yet, ignore all the previous lies.
Are you the same Michael Yon who ranted how they were all animals after your female friend was dosed with gas and burned to death for daring to speak to a man? Or were your previous comments in haste.
Question have the Taliban ever in the past taken credit for killing teachers and female students?
While the situation may not be black and white, don't give the taliban credit for truthfulness and respect for women they have not earned.
Secondly, getting the Taliban on record is a good thing to do.
Finally, this guy has maximum credibility. Not for being truthful, but for knowing about many attacks before they occur. ISAF has been trying to get him.
I don't care for the progress they have made because of the method that they use to control people. They still abuse the women, animals, and children. This is the group that goes around blowing up ancient works of art. The government of Afghanistan is no better.
The entire culture is warped from thousands of years of inbreeding. That is the problem.
This is like an episode of the Twightlight Zone. One guy saying my friend was doused with gas, and you implying that I sign something "your writer" to the Taliban. Where are you guys seeing this? Is there a parallel website that I can't see that's impersonating me? Some milkooks have been known to impersonate me with false websites and so forth -- so nothing would surprise me.
The Taliban along with much of Islam creates that kind of confusion for me. In other words: What in the world are they thinking
That is not voluntary "submission" by the way, it is by force as we have seen and has been played out since this backward cult started in the 7th Century!
Islam is and always will be a scourge of humanity and we need to face up to this fact! They will never change and we will never change so where does that leave us, Armageddon, maybe, I hope not, but I see no other way of dealing with these criminals of humanity!
Just playing nice with them will get us bombs going off in our shopping malls blowing up women and children in strollers!
Everyone really needs to read the words of this mental midget Mohammed and see what you are really in store for when dealing with Islamist criminals!

The founding fathers where very familiar with the incestuous relationship between Islam and government, (as was going on with King George and the Church of England), that and other examples was the very reason why the Founders where so vehemently opposed to such an evil marriage which led to one of the first "prohibitions" against the US government going down that path.
But what do we see going on presently, well you make your own judgements, but mine are solidly betting on the United Subjugated States Of Islam or Armageddon, the way things are going!
You have all seen what has happened in Europe in their attempt to appear to be "tolerant", "multicultural" , and "diverse", by letting the Islamists come in and take over local and regional governments and instilling Sharia Law (read Islamist subjugation) then the locals wake-up one day and find themselves living in a foreign country in their own backyards!

There's no moral difference between the likes of Breivik and Islamists. The only difference is virtually noone supports a lone, lunatic racist, wheras a huge amount of Muslims support Jihad against the West. If one was to use your own logic one would accuse you of sharing the same views as the 19 hijackers of 9/11.

If you can provide me with one example of where an Islamist has gained a foot hold in a government and subjected people to Sharia laws (because that is what he stated as a fact), then I will take back my statement and apologize immediately. As of now, that conspiracy theory is nothing short of what Breivik has written.
Where did I write that there was any moral difference between one heinous terrorist and another? And how would I in any way share any views with the swines responsible for 9/11?

I find it rather strange that you find it neccessary to accuse me of cheap shot in capital letters, when you translate "against the Iraq war" to "pro-Jihad", and "left-wing" to "far leftist".
All I can say is that you have not given me an example of an Islamist being elected into a government to then subject people to Sharia laws, which is exactly what I reacted to in TBs post, where he blatantly suggesting that Europeans haven't been aware of a Islamist threat posed by Muslim immigrants, and have thus found themselves subjected to Sharia laws. That is far from being "concerned about Jihad".
And considering the following facts regarding terrorism in the EU in 2011:
that a total of 249 terrorist attacks were carried out in Europe over the course of 2011, and only 3 of those were Islamist attacks. 160 separatist terror attacks also occured, as well as 45 left-wing and anarchist attacks.
that 179 persons were arrested for terrorist charges related to Islam, as opposed to 349 for separatist terrorism charges, it is frankly quite unlikely that anyone in the EU would be the victim of a terrorist attack, and even more unlikely that it would be a Islamist related attack if they indeed were to become a victim of a terrorist attack.
And again, note that I did not equate him to Breivik because he was "concerned about Jihad". I pointed out that he did in fact appear to hold very similair views to him after he essentially wrote that Europeans have been naive about the dangers of Muslim immigrants and a hidden agenda amongst them, and that this have resulted in them becoming the subjects of Islamists who now rule their countries.

I didn't take up right-wing terrorist attacks because they simply did not exceed the Islam related attacks (1 right-wing attack, as oppose to 3 Islam) as much as left-wing, anarchist and separatist attacks, and therefore it was irrelevant in my arguing that Islamists should one of the least feared groups regarding terrorism in the EU. If you want me to, I would be glad to include the right-wing attacks.
I can't help noticing that you for some reason found it called for to write "Far Left Fanatics" in the title, in capital letters. May I ask why? Are you accusing me of belonging to a far-left party, or the Islamists you seemingly suggest are "running the show", so to speak in the EU? Also, are you accusing me of not being "strong on facts"? Breivik comes from a country that knows no wars and barely even had a handful of murders PER YEAR. Until recent. The people are so docile they don't even know how to lie, or defend themselves should they have to. A perfect victim to vicious Muslim immigrants.
With the arrival of Muslim immigrants Norway now tackle over 90% of the ENTIRE nations rapes committed by a 2% MUSLIM population. Muslims also murder, harass, rob and threaten the Norweigian people. They have brought gun violence and their own little Afghanistan wherever they go. They attack gays, they beat or kill jews, they rob the locals and they groom children for sex slavery. This is the reality. And it has become such a huge problem it is out of control.
Let me ask you: if your daughter was raped by Muslims, if their life was made hell because the government decided to move Muslims to your area and they then begin targeting you by burning your house, robbing you, threatening Americans on a regular basis -- would you not have any balls to get angry and want to do something about it?
Breivik was frustrated with the weak socialist extremist Left government that did nothing to tackle these problems early on, but simply bent backwards to extremists and criminals. Meanwhile his country is being overrun by an extremist ideology that seeks to take it over and subdue them one day. That is all Muslims across Europe talk about nowadays: the day to come within the next 20-30 years when they will force, by violence, beheadings, rape, Europeans to bend and convert to Islam.
Fact is you know shit about Europe and the horrid transformation that has developed by allowing this particular creed, Muslims, to immigrate. You know nothing what people go through.
You should perhaps ask yourself how all the Buddhist Thai people feel who are going through ethnic cleansing on mass scale by Muslims forcing their presence into their country in the south. The media likes to distort reality and call them 'militant insurgents'. They are no militant insurgents. They are merely Muslims who demand Sharia law on everyone, including the Thai's.
Although Muslims make up only 4% of the total population they have not let that deter them from unprovoked attacks on Buddhists. They behead innocent Buddhist people on a daily basis. They burn them alive, cut the heads off children, tie people to train tracks and have them run over. Unless they convert to Islam. Muslims are now 35% of the most southern part of Thailand. And the effect shows. Not that many are alive to tell you how it all feels for them but I am sure you are the expert who can lecture them about human rights and equality!
Yeah, a lot of what he has said about the threat of Islam is true, but his actions were those of an utter, unqualified scumbag every inch as evil as the Muslims he condemns.
The Left across Europe, is using totalitarian means to silence criticism and exposure of their totalitarian ally Islam. However, we're still a democracy. I prefer Martin Luther King's example over Malcolm X's. And Malcolm X in no way compares to the unmitigated monster that Breivik is.
A depressing and despicable story and so sad for the girls made ill.
But despite this, I found your last line uplifting in an unexpected way. I hadn't really considered it from that point of view: A whole village worth of girls were in school- now that is good news, despite the attack.
Just try keeping 177 educated girls from doing what they want: I'd rather Terry Taliban tried that than me.... Speaking as a married man, its going to be rather hard work for the hardline islamofascists to keep their females beaten down forever!

No, those things aren't really biased. The webpage you directed me to seems rather biased though, and I find no reason for why I should believe that as opposed to papers contradicting it from universities such as Oxford and Yale.
